Lifesaving Merch is expanding the [Extra]ordinary project and announces a new partner to support blood transfusions in frontline areas

Lifesaving Merch continues to implement the adaptive training project for veterans with the support of the [Extra]ordinary collection, which has already yielded its first results and participant feedback. During the first month of the project, 60 training sessions were held in different regions of the country. The “Solomianski Kоtyky” foundation has become a new partner in supporting blood transfusion capabilities in frontline areas. Together, we have already purchased the first equipment for the following units: the 210th Separate Assault Regiment, the Special Purpose Police Department of the “Lyut” Joint Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine, and the 43rd Mechanized Brigade.

While medics on the front lines are increasing their chances of survival, veterans are recovering through adaptive training. By purchasing sweatshirts or T-shirts from the [Extra]ordinary collection, you are helping veterans regain their self-confidence and find a new rhythm in life.

During the first month of the project, 60 training sessions were held in the Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions. Among the sports, veterans most often choose dance, boxing, strength training, tennis, and basketball. For many of them, these were the first steps toward physical and emotional recovery — an opportunity to feel the strength of their own bodies again, to find a supportive community, and to gain new inspiration.

Adaptive training is designed to ensure that every participant, regardless of their level of fitness or injury, can train safely, comfortably, and profitably. It is conducted by experienced trainers who are trained in adaptive sports and rehabilitation.

In total, over 150 veterans have already requested training.

Another partner joined the Lifesaving Merch community in October — the "Solomyanski Kotyky" charity foundation, which supports military personnel, rescuers, and civilians. The foundation’s team focuses on strengthening blood transfusion capabilities at the pre-hospital level by purchasing essential medical equipment and supplies. Their work saves lives in frontline areas, where every minute counts. Blood is a unique resource with no substitutes. Thanks to "Solomyanski Kotyky" and the joint efforts of the Lifesaving Merch team, we help medics respond faster and save the wounded more effectively.

In October, the Lifesaving Merch team allocated UAH 323,000 for the purchase of the following:

• for the Hospitallers — a universal AITECS 2016 syringe pump;
• for Solomianski Kotyky — 5 blood-storage refrigerators, 1 warmer, and 300 blood transfusion systems;
• for Blood Agents — 153 SICH hemostatic tourniquets.

The KOLO Charity Foundation also received 400 units of adaptive clothing — T-shirts and pants — which are already on their way to hospitals and evacuation trains to support care for our defenders.
